Small business advocate and Small Business loan consultant, Scarlet Timphony, has spent almost 15 years in SBA and business finance. Traveling a path from theatre and music, singing the national anthem for Houston, Texas professional sports teams ,to being one of the first female radio announcers, she owned and ran a successful family thoroughbred racing business. After spending several years as marketing director for SBA consulting firm, JRBruno & Associates, she originated and ran the SBA Loan Department for Certified Federal Credit Union, branding the credit union throughout the state of California. Scarlet is a private consultant for small businesses, assisting with business finance and creating strategic alliances, matches and partnerships. She will be assisting businesses with obtaining business or SBA loan financing.
Scarlet was very active with the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce as an Ambassador for several years and has served as Chair of the Advisory Board of the Friends of the Levitt Pavilion in Pasadena, California. She has been awarded for community service by State Representative Carol Liu for her work in Asian American outreach. Currently Scarlet serves on the Advisory Board for Ibank.com, putting together the SBA portion of their website and as Chairperson for the BASIC committee and Ambassadors of the Industrial Council of Commerce for the past five years. She is on the Access to Business Capital committee for the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce and served as a Task Force and Pod Convener for Access to Capital as a member of the California Governor's Advocate's Advisory Committee and 2008 Conference. Known as the "Queen of Net workers", Scarlet Timphony is proud to be a member of the University of Southern California family and LAMBEC, and to bring her extensive network of resources to the USC LAMBEC business community. |
