Public Counsel

Public Counsel is the nation’s largest public interest pro bono law firm.  The partnership with Public Counsel has provided the LA Metro MBEC and its clients with a valuable resource for legal consultation and resolution management services.

Public Counsel’s Community Development Project (CDP) is committed to supporting community-based organizations and businesses that strengthen low-income and underserved Los Angeles neighborhoods. Our clients include affordable housing developers, job training centers and low-income entrepreneurs who form and operate their own businesses. In order to help these nonprofit organizations and micro-businesses identify and effectively respond to legal issues, CDP provides eligible clients with free transactional legal assistance.
